What we have here is the second Strongest 4 wheel drive set up that you can add on to an existing Can Am Smart Lok Case, We utilize 33 Spline axles which are the strongest axles for a front can am differential that you can buy. Pairing the strongest axles you can buy with our spool means you have the strongest 4 wheel drive set up for half the cost of our competitors.

The Smart Spool has .085 thousandths of an inch more spline contact surface than our competitors.
The Smart Spool is machined to with precision tolerances
Our side cover was created to add an extra bearing surface for superior strength and is machined from 6061 billet aluminum
We use a Black Oxide coating on our smart spool to stop rust and corrosion
The Smart Spool is made from 4140 heat treated stresses relived material
The splines are machined by wire EMD and have a second flame hardening when completed

*unfortunately, 33 spline axles have been known to have a large spline size variances, axles can measure from 1.045" to 1.065" across the spline surface. if you receive an axle under 1.055" please contact us as we would advise you to not run that axle in our Smart Spool.(see warranty below)

*The Smart Spool will not be warrantied due to damage caused by undersize 33 spline axles. axles must measure 1.055 and above. It has come to our attention there are batches of 33 spline axles out there that measure undersize which is under the 1.055 mark.(please check before installing with a digital micrometer caliper)
